What does it mean to enjoy a piece of Choba Choba chocolate? That's what we want to tell you and what "Un Abrazo de Chocolate" means to us. And why we say that we are cacao farmers and not chocolatiers.

It all starts with a trip on a small boat up the Peruvian Amazon. The deep blue waters of the river, the lush greenery and the sounds of the jungle accompany us. There is no mobile signal on this trip and that is a good thing, because it allows us to fully enjoy and immerse ourselves in the beauty and uniqueness of the nature around us.

After some time, we reach the communities - Santa Rosa and Pucalpillo, where we grow our cacao, which is the heart of our chocolate. Every time we arrive here, we are welcomed by our cacao farmers and their families with a heartfelt hug, because after all these years we have become one family - we are cacao farmers. Life here is played out together; we cook together, laugh together, take care of the cultivation of the cacao and do so in harmony with nature.

Our love for cacao and nature is evident everywhere, as we grow our cacao in agroforestry and we carefully harvest, dry, and ferment our beans. Behind every single step of cultivation and processing, as well as in every single bean, is our passion and love for excellent cocoa and the best taste. That's why we are cocoa farmers. But - our passion does not end with the bean.

In Switzerland, our cocoa beans are processed according to Swiss craftsmanship and chocolate tradition by our selected partners, to whom we entrust our cocoa, transforming the beans into the chocolate that you get today. We put in every step, the same love and the same passion for excellent, delicious chocolate and quality.

And that's what "Un Abrazo de Chocolate" means: a warm chocolate hug. It is the warm embrace of us, the cocoa farmers, from Santa Rosa and Pucalpillo that you can feel with every piece of our chocolate.

We wish you a moment of intimate chocolate embrace with our chocolates.
