Today, we are excited to delve further into our world by highlighting the crucial philanthropic aspect of our ecosystem: the Choba Choba Foundation. Operational since 2020, our foundation was established to expand our impact far beyond our humble plantations. This initiative, complementary to our social enterprise, thus amplifies the positive change we generate in the Peruvian Amazon, hand in hand with farmers.
As cacao producers ourselves, we understand that true transformation must go beyond agricultural practices; it also involves creating opportunities. Hence, the Choba Choba Foundation aspires to accompany farmers through an entrepreneurial, agroecological, and resilient transition. With the support of our partners, we co-create an environment conducive to nurturing everyone's potential.
Collectively, we implement and support projects that empower farmers and their families, promote agroecological practices, preserve the rainforest and its invaluable biodiversity, and enhance the livelihoods of those who, through their work and expertise, provide us with this unique tasting experience: chocolate. In 2023, the Choba Choba Foundation committed to the fight for rainforest preservation by supporting young conservation initiatives that have emerged in recent years in the Huayabamba Valley. We will share more about this in the coming days.
